Evette Beckett-Tuggle

Evette brings over 35 years of leadership, strategic insight, and operational expertise to executive coaching.

She is the CEO and Managing Principal of The Agilant Group, LLC, dedicated to life coaching and leadership training and facilitation.  Evette works with executives one-to-one and with business owners and their leadership to operationalize a vision and plan to achieve alignment, accountability, and growth throughout the organization.

Evette previously served as a peer advisory group Chair with Vistage, the global leader in private advisory boards for CEOs, executives, and business owners.  Prior to establishing her executive coaching practice, Evette served in senior-level positions in the non-profit, public, and private sectors which include President and Chief Executive Officer of Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council, Chief Marketing Officer for Global Music Network and Essence Magazine, and Vice President of Global Marketing for Citibank.

Evette has a passion for serving others. She has held numerous community leadership positions in New York and in Charlotte. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.  Her previous service includes the Board of Directors of The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts & Culture, the Advisory Committee of  Carolina Theatre at Belk Place, and the Executive Committee of The Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

Evette holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in English and Drama from Tufts University.

Reggie Tuggle

For 37 years as senior pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Roosevelt, New York, Reverend Reggie Tuggle led the church to record growth from 50 members to over 1,000 members while simultaneously holding secular business leadership positions. His leadership in church growth is recognized nationally.  Currently, Reverend Tuggle is the interim pastor of the Grier Heights Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He has a proven track record in organization-building, fundraising, and people management. His leadership style inspires people to excellence, positive transformation, and higher levels of productivity. His prior leadership includes Associate Vice President of Marketing for Nassau Community College, Director of Public Affairs for Newsday, Long Island’s largest daily newspaper, and as the first Executive Director of the Urban League of Long Island.

He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and psychology from Bishop College. Additionally, Rev. Tuggle pursued a Ph.D. at Yale University where he focused his thesis on Ethical Implications of Multinational Corporate Investments in Third World Countries.

He has worked with a number of churches in Charlotte as interim pastor, Moderator of the Session, and has served on committees with the Charlotte Presbytery.  He is currently on the Board of Directors of the CrossRoads Corporation for Affordable Housing and Community Development, Inc., and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roosevelt Children’s Academy, a charter school on Long Island, New York.
